Our Mission

At Spirit of Enterprise (SOE), we aim to Honour and Inspire.

SOE was established in 2003 with the following mission:

To promote and advance the entrepreneurial spirit in Singapore by honouring local self-reliant entrepreneurs operating small and medium-sized businesses; and
To inspire Singaporeans, especially the young, to become entrepreneurs by facilitating interaction, communication and knowledge dissemination and interaction between students and entrepreneurs.

SOE has spent over two decades honouring homegrown entrepreneurs, and initiating and executing programmes for young beneficiaries, giving them opportunities to interact with and learn from entrepreneurs.

Charity Status

SOE is an approved Institution of a Public Character (“IPC”) under Section 37(2)(c) of the Income Tax Act registered with the Commissioner of Charities under the Charities Act. It is listed under IRAS and in the NPO Directory provided by the National Volunteerism & Philanthropy Centre. Our charity registration number is 01696.
