Bio
Durga Poonambalam is the founder and creative director of WriteHaus Asia, leading the creative agency across Singapore and Jakarta. Her mission centres on connecting people through storytelling. She is the author of the official Fandi Ahmad biography, which debuted at number one on The Sunday Times bestseller list and remained there for eight weeks. Additionally, she hosts OpenHaus, a podcast featuring cultural figures like Kumar, SGAG’s Xiao Ming, and Gurmit Singh. From August 2025, it will be available on Singapore Airlines’ KrisWorld.
Volunteer Role & Focus:
As 2025 Book Chairman on the SOE Board of Governors and former 2024 SOE Award Honouree, Durga uses her storytelling skills to amplify entrepreneurs’ experiences. She curates the SOE Book, highlighting stories of perseverance, transformation and enterprise to guide and motivate a new generation of business leaders.
