Bio
Dr Christopher Chong is Senior Consultant in Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Urogynaecology at Gleneagles Hospital and holds the title of Emeritus Professor at Calmette Hospital, Phnom Penh. He graduated MBBS and MMed (O&G) from NUS (1988, 1996), and trained with RCOG and RACOG, including a fellowship in Melbourne in 2001. He is a pioneer of prolapse and pelvic‑floor surgery in Singapore, performing over 10,000 sling procedures since 1998, and holds leadership roles in numerous regional urogynecological societies.
Volunteer Role & Focus:
Awarded the SOE Social Award for his international medical missions, including in Cambodia and Thailand, Dr Chong brings his commitment to healthcare and education to SOE. He supports charitable health initiatives and leads efforts to integrate medical professionals into SOE’s entrepreneurship outreach. He is also involved under the SOE Fundraising Golf Challenge as Co-Chairman, contributing to the cause through advocacy and participation.
