Business leaders, entrepreneurs, sponsors and supporters gathered at Laguna National Golf Resort Club on 1 July for the Spirit of Enterprise (SOE) Fundraising Golf Challenge 2026. The annual charity event combined golf, networking and fundraising in support of SOE’s youth-focused programmes, which promote entrepreneurship and connect young people with established business leaders.

Behind Soe Missions

Founded in 2003, SOE is a non-profit Institution of a Public Character that champions entrepreneurship in Singapore. It honours local entrepreneurs and inspires youths through mentorship, education and knowledge-sharing. This year’s dinner programme was graced by guest-of-honour Chee Hong Tat, Minister for National Development and SOE Patron.

Support Soe Flagship Youth Initiative

Through initiatives such as the Student Interviewer Programme (SIP), SOE gives students the chance to interview business leaders and learn directly from their entrepreneurial journeys. Funds raised from the event will also support SOE’s flagship youth initiative, the Student Entrepreneur Programme (SEP), which introduces students to business fundamentals through real-world simulations, career talks and learning journeys.

Jocelyn Tan, co-chairperson of the SOE Fundraising Golf Challenge and group CEO of Apex Asia Management Group, said this year’s turnout and support for the event affirmed SOE’s mission. “Together, SIP and SEP equip students with the confidence, mindset and practical experience to become future entrepreneurs, innovators and changemakers,” she said. “The continued support from our donors, sponsors and partners allows SOE to reach more students and create even more opportunities for young Singaporeans to discover and develop their entrepreneurial potential.”
