Entrepreneurs Giving Back to the Community
At SOE, we celebrate the stories of entrepreneurs who have shown courage, determination, and resilience. Many of these individuals are also passionate about giving back. Through this partnership, SOE aims to shine a light on the importance of social responsibility and encourage members of the business community to support meaningful causes.
All funds raised through this initiative will go towards Community Chest, the philanthropy and engagement arm of the National Council of Social Service (NCSS). 100% of donations will go directly to supporting over 100 social service agencies and more than 200 programmes that serve those in need.
Your donation will support key areas such as:
- Adults with disabilities, to help them lead independent and dignified lives.
- Children with special needs and youth-at-risk, by providing safe environments and opportunities for learning and development.
- Families in need, through financial assistance, counselling, and other support services.
- Persons with mental health conditions, with access to therapy, rehabilitation, and community-based support.
- Seniors, to ensure they receive care, companionship, and help in their daily living.

Community Chest is the fundraising and engagement arm of the National Council of Social Service (NCSS). Since 1983, it has been supporting social service agencies in Singapore by raising funds to help those in need, including children with special needs, low-income families, seniors, and persons with disabilities. 100% of donations go directly to supported causes.

- $50 provides a day of social service support for lower-income families facing financial and family challenges.
- $40 offers a day of residential care for a senior with no support to maintain independent living.

- $15 helps a person with mental health conditions receive job training, placement, and support.
- $10 provides a day of counselling and support for an adult with disability to build confidence and independence.
